Second: A day of shopping in Toronto! :DD and eat of course!
Third: Head over to Ontario Place at whatever time.
Fourth: Buying merch and shit
Fifth: show starts,
Sixth: THE ACADEMY IS... MERCH TABLE, duing +44 set, HOPEFULLY meeting them! :DDD

Okay, so..since a gay post on IDF this pissed me off.
..i basically wrote this in my sleep, no joke!..

Panic! or FOB?

So, many said neither, or FOB , or Panic!.
many were like "eeww, they both sound the same whats the difference?"
So here is what i have to say.

     Those who say Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco sound a like and are just ripping each other off and using each others sounds. Do not know music. Many of us know that Panic!'s guitarist, Ryan Ross, had posted a few songs on Fall Out Boy's bassist, Pete Wentz's, livejournal. That is how Panic! was found. The boys hit the recording studio and within three months, they had recorded their first cd, "A Fever You Can't Sweat out". Fall Out Boy had released their third cd "From Under The Corktree" in early April. So the bands were going to be hot within the next year or two. They headed off on the Nitendo Fushion Tour in Septmember. This was going to start a friendship you could never pay for.
    

     After many had heard "A Fever you can't sweat out", they started labeling them "emo" and "fall out boy copiers". These boys were not "emo" nor "fall out boy copiers". They were unique and new to the scene. Many told others that Panic!'s frontman/singer Brendon Urie had the most terriable voice they had ever heard. Was it beacuse they recorded the record before ever playing a real show? Maybe. If thats the reason, then they should go and see them now.

     Many have only heard "Dance, Dance" or "Sugar We're Going Down" from Fall Out Boy. They became hits to young teenies who loved to call "Pete the singer" and saying "Omg! Pete is Soo HAWT. Lyke OMG!". They boys than realised they would start growing a young fanbase. Those who have heard the whole Fall Out Boy cd, would know that the guys are unique and would know they put their heart and soul into their music. Many young teenies would not understand their music, nor do they. They just like the band for their looks. This would soon upset the guys because they don't enjoy being known for their looks [well,maybe Pete does...]. For those who have only heard those two songs i had mentioned earlier, please- take some time to listen to their other music, old or new, and you'll end up thinking differently about them. I would know, it happened to me.
     
     Panic! At The Disco. Their name is crazy, their music is different, so whats not to love? Their music comes from the heart, because most of it comes from real life. "Camisado", as we all know, is about how [gutarist/lyrcist] Ryan Ross dealt with his dad's alcohol addiction. Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off, is about a girl friend cheating on him. These lyrics mean so much to him, and when others say "Ryan, I can relate to your lyrics like whoa!" that doesn't exactly make him the happiest person on earth. It may make him a little bit, but it would make him more upset than anything. He doesn't exactly wan't us coming up to him and saying "I can relate to Camisado like you wouldn't believe, my friend is an alcoholic and i hate it." blah blah blah, you get the point. You may be able to relate a little to it, or you may not. Either way you have never been in Ryan Ross's shoes. You don't know what he had been through, so you can't say you know how he feels/felt. Going up to him and saying "Wow, your an amazing lyricist. I am amazed at what you do" would make him happy and you'd even get a smile out of it. 
     Now to the more lamer things. Many have only heard "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" correct? And many now call them "sell outs" and still they call them "emo". Panic! now -basically- regret ever putting out "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" because of how much younger their fan base became. Now they have 12 year olds screaming "BRANDON BRANDON!" outside of their tour bus, and they can't even meet fans anymore because of this. Many now 'hate'  Panic! because they have heard that they are pricks and don't give a rat's ass about their fans. They do! They set up a meet and greet for 20 lucky fans who had bought Early Addmission tickets. Proving they are not in it just for the money! Panic! has now left the scene because many fans believe they should have been writing instead of doing their lastest tour, "Nothing Ryhmes With Circus Tour". I agree with that. Yes the show was absoloutly amazing and they sounded great. But i think they need to take a break off and start relaxing and write some new things. The fever has been sweated out of my cd more than i had ever thought, and i would love some new material. And i do not think they need all those crazy dancers and a crazy set for me to go see them. I think they need to have their music and a small gig for me to go see them again. I do not by any means call them "sell outs" nor do I think they don't care about their fans. They are doing what they think is best -even though it may not always be the best- they are enjoying every minute of it. 

     So, my main point is that you can not call the two bands the same. They are both very different and both amazing. They both have talent [and may I add looks! though, I don't care for their looks!]. I have yet to see Fall Out Boy live but when I do, i know they will put on a show. They don't need to have a big set nor do they have to be good loking by all means. They need to be themselves and just be as amazing as i know they are. To me, Panic! At The Disco and Fall Out Boy are both two different bands who are in it for the music, and not the money. You can disagree with me all you want, see if that changes my mind. If you have not listened to more than 3 Panic! At The Disco songs or 3 Fall Out Boy songs, I reccomend you do.
  
     2006 was a big year for both bands, and 2007 has more instore for them.

          Okay, this came to me (and my friend Heather) during class.
We were supposed to write a Halloween Story, but meh.
Aaha, this is so random. And theres a reallyy long story behind
the whole Jon Walker being a Ninja.
